Special Rental Information by Booking of Prepaid Rates

1.1. This information does not constitute a contract for the provider of car rental services. The conditions will be available together with the rental contract.

The conditions that govern the SilveRent rental contract provide that the driver has a valid driver's license that complies with the minimum legal age required and that meets the requirements for entering into a rental contract.

The driver must meet the conditions required by law when collecting the vehicle, so it is not enough to have them when booking.

1.2. When making a reservation, you authorize SilveRent to charge your credit card for the amount of that reservation.

2.1. By selecting to complete the booking process you are automatically accepting the terms and conditions expressed in this document. When signing your reservation you are assuming payment of the value of the reservation in accordance with the quotes offered by SilveRent. This will confirm the conditions under which your rental will take place.

2.2. You will have to pay the amount presented to be entitled to car rental services. The respective rental amount will be charged to your credit card at the time of booking confirmation. By accepting the conditions of this agreement, you are expressly authorizing SilveRent to charge the value of the transaction as well as the additional extras subscribed.

2.3. The reservation email you will receive constitutes the confirmation title for your rental.

2.4. Any additional equipment or services must be paid directly to SilveRent when picking up or returning the vehicle. SilveRent reserves the right to charge a supplement to the fare when picking up the vehicle if: the driver is under 21 years old, if they purchase the Toll Free Service, if they purchase the full fuel tank option or any reduction franchise.

2.5. If you cancel your reservation on the same day you make it, you will not be charged a cancellation fee.

2.6. If you cancel your reservation within 5 days prior to collecting the car, you will receive a refund of the deductible reservation amount of €40.

2.7. If your cancellation occurs less than 5 days before the vehicle pick-up date, the amount paid will not be refunded.

2.8. If you do not collect the vehicle on the scheduled date or do not cancel the reservation, SilveRent reserves the right not to refund any amount already paid.

2.9. If you wish to obtain a refund of the amount paid (when applicable) you must address your request to:

3.1. Subject to availability and in accordance with the restrictions expressed in clause 3.2 below, you can change your reservation up to 24 hours before the scheduled date/time for collecting the vehicle, and to do so you must contact the SilveRent call center: + 351 925 673 450

3.2. Changes to your reservation are subject to the following restrictions:

a) If you change your reservation and the rental value is greater than the value mentioned in your voucher, you will be charged for the difference in rates and this amount must be paid at the time of the change.

b) If the value of the change is less than the value expressed in your voucher, no refund will be made.

4.1. In the event that SilveRent operates at stations for which it must pay a fee to a third party in order to perform its services, a customer service supplement will be charged.

4.2. Traffic, parking and infraction fines (including unpaid tolls) – in most cases you will be contacted directly by the competent authority in order to pay the respective fine. If this does not happen, SilveRent will identify it and reserve the right to charge your credit card the amount of €30 intended to cover the administrative costs incurred.

5.1. The rental price you booked includes third party liability insurance.

5.2. Mandatory coverage is included unless your reservation is made at pre-contracted rates with business entities.

5.3. Basic coverage includes third-party insurance and legal assistance.

6.1. If the rented vehicle is damaged or stolen, the customer is responsible for paying for the repair or replacement of the vehicle. This deductible is applicable regardless of the finding of fault in the event of an accident.

6.2. When collecting the vehicle, SilveRent will retain the deductible value on the customer's credit card. This amount will only be released at the end of the rental and after checking the condition of the vehicle. No amount will be charged to the customer's credit card unless there is damage to the vehicle or there are additional amounts to be charged. O
