General Insurance Information
Third Party Insurance (TPI)Protection
coverage for the vehicle includes Third Party Liability with a maximum
cover of EUR 50 Million for personal injuries and material damages. The
driver is liable up to the maximum amount of liability for accidents
caused, damage caused by parking, theft or any damage caused by an
unknown third party.
Excluded from the protection is the use of the vehicle for the transport of dangerous goods.
All
protection as part of the rental contract will become void, in
particular, if an unauthorized driver has used the vehicle or if the
driver of the vehicle does not possess the required driver's license at
the time of the event giving rise to claim, as well as if the driver is
under the effect of alcohol and/or stupfacients.
Who’s covered to drive?
Only those people named as drivers on the rental agreement are insured to drive the vehicle.
Additional drivers can be nominated for a charge of €4.00 per day maximum charge €40.00 per driver.
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)All rates include CDW.
The customer is only responsible for the following amounts:
EUR 1,000.00 (groups A.B.C and D)
EUR 1,500.00 (ALL OTHER GROUPS)
Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW)If CDW is already included in the rates, the renter can choose Super Cover CDW to reduce the Non-Waivable Responsibility.
If Super CDW is accepted, customer is only responsible for the following amounts: €30.00.
Tire and Glass Coverage (WSC)Tire and Glass Coverage provides cover against the consequences of damages on tires, windscreen, side windows and back window.
If
WSC is not accepted the customer will be held liable for the full value
of damages on tires, windscreen, side windows and back window.
If GT is accepted, customer is only responsible for the following amounts: €30.00
Personal Accident Protection (PAI)By taking out personal accident protection the protection can also be extended to cover the consequences of an accident.
The limit of liability is:
- EUR 15,000. - for invalidity,
- EUR 15,000.- for decease,
- EUR 1,500.- for medical costs.
Theft Protection (TP)Theft of the car responsibility may be reduced by the client by the acceptance of TP.
If TP is accepted, customer is only responsible, in the case of car stolen during rental, for the following amount: €30.00.
WARNING: This protection is ONLY for the car and doesn’t include customer’s or passenger luggage or other belongings.
Acts of vandalism (VP)Acts of vandalism against car deductible may be reduced by the acceptance of VP.
- For groups A, B, C and D - EUR 7.00 per day with a deductible of EUR 1,000
- For other groups - EUR 11.00 per day with a deductible of EUR 1,500
